I’ve found my niche as a guy who understands web design and user experience as well as front-end development. I speak to designers with the voice of a developer, and I can develop websites with a designer’s attention to fine, stylistic detail. With both formal design training and high-level HTML and CSS skills, I’m a pretty useful guy to have around. You can reach me at saundersbd@gmail.com.

The Chicago Jazz Underground website is designed to be a social network for jazz musicians in the city of Chicago. It is based off the the idea that the community of jazz musicians in the city lacks a central hub from which to organize and connect to each other. The musicians and club owners would be able to use the site to interact with one another and form relationships to work out playing opportunities. The site also represents an official access point for people not related to the community, so that they can learn a little about what live jazz is about without jumping in head first. If you haven’t seen Blade Runner, it is not an action movie. It tends to be more philosophical than anything and deals with such questions as what defines a human being. My version of the open titles is a quiet, introspective exploration of an anatomical drawing, looking at the anatomy of a human in the most formal sense.
